FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy

The FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy (FLVA) is a flagship event for FISU and students active in university sport in their country. Held annually the event brings together more than 100 student leaders from more than 90 countries. Participants attend the program either in person (7 days) or online (2-3 days), depending upon the global situation. The program includes conferences, workshops, collaboration and group projects.

Graduates from the FLVA program become FISU student ambassadors and contribute to university sport programs in their home country.

Students must be nominated by their National University Sports Federation to attend.

Applications for the next FLVA will open in February 2023. For more information about FLVA visit the FISU website. If you are interested in being your country’s representative at the next edition of FLVA, contact your National University Sports Federation or email us.
