About Us

Established in 2008 as an initiative of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), Oceania University Sports Association (OUSA) is the fifth FISU Continental Association and is now known as FISU Oceania.

We exist to provide support and services to National University Sport Federations (NUSFs) and we focus on driving greater participation and engagement in university sport across the Pacific region.

Acknowledging our Pacific cultures

FISU Oceania acknowledges the traditional owners and leaders of our Pacific nations and pay our respects to Elders and traditional leaders, past present and emerging. FISU Oceania recognises that these leaders are custodians of the culture, heritage and traditions of our communities and that we all have the responsibility to uphold and protect these customs. FISU Oceania recognises the diverse culture and backgrounds of our membership, stakeholders and partners.
