About Us

Established in 2008 as an initiative of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), Oceania University Sports Association (OUSA) is the fifth FISU Continental Association.

Now known as FISU Oceania, our Federation is committed to increasing the impact of university sport in the Pacific via participation, engagement, capacity and awareness.

David is currently Director of UNE Life at the University of New England in Australia.

Vice President

Nicola Clayden (New Zealand)
Nicola is the Sport and Wellness Manager at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. Nicola is also the Chair of University Tertiary Sport New Zealand.

Cornelius Papau (Papua New Guinea)
Cornelius is the Manager of the High Performance Division at the PNG Sports Foundation. Cornelius is also Secretary General for PNG University Sports Association

Amy is the Sport Education Development Officer at the Marshall Islands National Olympic Committee.

Alifereti is the President of the Fiji University Sports Association.

Secretary General

Donna Spethman (Australia)
Donna holds the role of Secretary General of FISU Oceania and also works for UniSport Australia as their General Manager for Governance & Member Services. Donna is also a member of the FISU Education Committee.

Martin Doulton (Australia)
Martin was the former Director of TEAM Monash at Monash University. Martin has served as President of FISU Oceania and is now an elected member of the FISU Executive Committee.

Ben Hall (Australia)
Ben is a recent graduate of Deakin University and participated as Oceania's representative in the 2020 FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy.
