The FISU University World Cup Football event is held every two years (on the odd year). Teams qualify for an invitation by winning their Continental Qualifying Tournament (QT) and QT events are held in the even year.
FISU Oceania will confirm the format for the 2026 Football QT event soon. Only teams that win their national university football championship will be invited to attend the FISU Oceania QT event.
