About Us

Established in 2008, FISU Oceania is one of five Continental University Sport Federations.

We exist to provide support and services to National University Sport Federations (NUSFs) and we focus on driving greater participation and engagement in university sport across the Pacific region.

FISU Oceania acknowledges the traditional owners and leaders of our Pacific nations and pay our respects to Elders and traditional leaders, past present and emerging. FISU Oceania recognises that these leaders are custodians of the culture, heritage and traditions of our communities and that we all have the responsibility to uphold and protect these customs. FISU Oceania recognises the diverse culture and backgrounds of our membership, stakeholders and partners.

Our Executive Committee

FISU Oceania is governed by a Executive Committee consisting of five persons elected by FISU Oceania members, two persons appointed by the Executive Committee and (up to) two student leaders who have represented Oceania at the FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy. The current Executive Committee is appointed for the mandate period December 2023 – November 2027.
