Student leaders from the NUS and the University of the South Pacific (USP) have started their workforce meetings (June 23rd and July 22nd respectively) to prepare for the Samoa Uni-Games.
Samoa’s FISU Oceania Regional Development Officer held a workshop with the Uni-Games workforce on July 22nd and there is much excitement as tasks for the Uni-Games have been clarified and delegated to the workforce.
A total of four sports will be played at this year’s Uni-Games, including; touch rugby, netball, volleyball and soccer. One of the major highlights for this year’s Samoa Uni-Games is the inclusion of a mixed soccer game for the first time since Uni-Games started in Samoa five years ago.
