No medals but lots of promise on opening day for Uniroos

Despite two days of competition pre-opening ceremony, day one of action got under way in Gwangju with the Uniroos in action across eight sports.

No medals, but lots of promise in women’s water polo and men’s basketball, along with top eight finishes in diving and swimming the highlights.

On Sunday, the Uniroos two defending champions are in action – Catherine Skinner in the women’s trap and Justin James in the 200m individual medley.
